Let’s have a safe and Happy Halloween with some quick tips!

• Costumes should be moveable and should never obstruct the trick or treaters view.
• Wear bright colors and/or reflective wear to be fully seen!
• Only Trick or treat at homes that are well lit.
• Follow all street laws – Cross at street corners and be extra careful of drivers.
• Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Groups make it more fun, consider talking to others in the neighborhood.
• Flash lights and glow sticks are great for dark nights!
• Avoid homemade treats – safety first!
• Consider placing pets in a secluded room with soft light, low music and a favorite treat, to help reduce their anxiety.
• Wear comfy shoes, it could be a long walk.
• Never go in a stranger’s home!
• Always check candy before letting the kiddos eat it.
• Layers are always good idea here in Colorado.
• Don’t forget to say, Thank you!
